I WOULD GATHER CHILDREN
Some would gather money
Along the path of life.
Some would gather roses,
And rest from worldly strife.
But I would gather children
From among the thorns of sin,
I would seek a golden curl,
And a freckled, toothless grin.
For money cannot enter
In that land of endless day,
And roses that are gathered
Soon will wilt along the way.
But oh, the laughing children,
As I cross the sunset sea,
And the gates swing wide to heaven
I can take them in with me!

Hi Kelley,
ReplyDeleteI just read your letter. Thank you so much for writing!! You have no idea how much I needed it today.
Your family is beautiful and you and your hubby are gorgeous together.
I am tickled that adoption is in your future!! I noticed you haven't done a "follower" thing...when you do I will sign up so I can see your story unfold!
I am thankful that you have overcome pain from your past. God is always so faithful!
Love from Colorado,
Linny xo
