Thankful Thursday

Thankfulness is something that I have been thinking a lot about lately. It is a character quality that I could use a bunch more of in my life. Soooo, I will be attempting to create a thankfulness post every Thursday. This idea ( like most of mine) is not original with me. It was inspired by one of the blogs that I follow.

I am thankful for computers. I have always enjoyed working on computers. I don't really know that much about them but I am learning more all of the time. In January I began following a few blogs and they have been an inspiration and challenge to me in many ways. (more about that another time.) Anyways I have tried many times to start a "journal" or whatever you want to call it and have never done very good at following through with it. I am enjoying blogging so much that I hope it will help me do a better job of getting things down.

I am thankful that today was beautiful and that the forecast for the next few days looks awesome!! I always appreciate the warmth and sunshine so much this time of year and then by the end of the summer I am taking it for granted.

I am thankful for my healthy and VERY active almost 11 month old. I have had to get up about ten times while writing this because he keeps pressing buttons on the radio and when he presses them it turns off the sound to the TV and that is a problem because the other children are trying to watch Veggie Tales and watch out - better no one interrupt their TV viewing:) He is such a sweet and funny little guy!!


I am thankful for a very hard working husband!! Last night Jose thanked me for all that I do to take care of our family. I told him that even though I sometimes get frustrated and tired there is absolutely nothing I would rather be doing!!! I could not be at home doing what I have always wanted to do, being a wife, mom, and housekeeper, if it weren't for all of his hard work!!

I think it would be a good thing to get the kids in on this. They also could use a little practice at being grateful:)
